Travel Advisor Appreciation Program (TAAP)
Program Details
We welcome travel advisors to visit the resort and experience our little slice of Texas paradise!
Qualified travel advisors will receive:
• Special Travel Agent Room Rate - 25% off BAR, depending on the season and availability
• Domestic / USA Travel Advisors may stay up to 3 nights at the Travel Agent Room Rate; international Travel Advisors may stay up to 5 nights at the Travel Agent Room Rate
• Travel Agent Rate is only available for one room reservation, not multiples
How to Qualify
• Travel Advisor must have a valid IATAN or CLIA ID card, or agency IATAN ID, during the time of booking
• Travel Advisors must present their IATAN ID card, CLIA ID card, or agency IATAN letter at check-in to receive the special Travel Agent Room Rate, otherwise the rate will revert back to BAR (best available rate)
How to Book Your Stay
To receive 25% off a stay for yourself, give our reservations team a call at 877.286.9590 and have your IATAN or CLIA ID Card number ready.
What your clients receive when you book their stay...
For bookings that Travel Advisors make on behalf of their clients, rest assured that your customers are in good hands:
- We will make note of any special requests and amenity preferences that your clients have, before they arrive
- Receive prompt payment of your commission, after your clients depart from the resort; this will be paid no later than 7 days after your guests check out

Tom Faust
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
A recognized hotel industry veteran, Tom Faust, now the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the new Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe | Houston, joined BENCHMARK, a Global Hospitality Company, as Vice President of Sales on February 29, 2016. Previously Tom was with Omni Hotels & Resorts for nine years as Vice President, Sales. In his leadership role, Faust was responsible for creating and directing revenue generating strategies across for the entire luxury hotel brand. Prior to joining Omni, Faust spent eight years at the Anatole in Dallas under both the Wyndham and Hilton flags. Prior to that he also spent 18 years with Sheraton and Starwood Hotels, in a variety of operations, marketing and sales roles at both the corporate and field level.
Faust also has served on the MPI Foundation Board, Executive Board of Governors of the University of North Texas Hospitality School, and The Board of Directors of the ATT Cotton Bowl.
