Teambuilding Activities

Start this event off by learning how to make our Perfect Margarita from one of our Mixologists. After the demonstration your guests will be split into teams. Each table will be set with necessary items and a separate table will be set with ingredients to make a variety of margaritas. Items will include various juices, sodas, rums, tequilas, limes, sugars, etc. Each team must go to the “shopping” table and use those ingredients to make their own margarita. Depending on what the client wants, teams can either share the ingredients equally or provide them on a first come, first serve basis. For the first come, first serve option we will have a trivia question determining which team goes first. Questions can be company-specific, Texas-related or Jimmy Buffett themed! Activity requires a minimum of 30 participants. Expected duration of one hour.

The ultimate sink or swim challenge. Each team is given an identical set of materials and one hour to build a boat. Teams then race against each other in one of our pools or in our private cove. Materials include: three 60” x 100” sheets of cardboard, two paddles, one razor blade knife, one roll of plastic wrap and 90 yards of duct tape. Activity is based on 10 -50 participants. Expected duration of one hour.

Challenge your attendees with our one of a kind pickleball tournament! Pickleball is a paddle sport for all ages and all skill levels that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. We provide your group with master score keepers and a FINtastic lakeside location. Activity is based on 4-16 participants. Expected duration of one hour.

Groups will compete in a series of fun-filled and competitive challenges on our private beach along Lake Conroe, facilitated by a host from the Resort Team. Show off your skills with classic beach games such as relay races, 3 legged races, tug-of-war, flip flop challenge, blind & find, hula hoop challenge, water balloon toss, pipeline and more. The winning team will take home medals based on the grand total score tally at the end of all events. Activity is based on 20-50 participants. Expected duration of one hour.

Spice things up and create your own signature “Paradise Chili” using only the ingredients from our fresh-stocked pantry. We provide the basic recipe and it’s up to your team to add the fixings. Let the most amazing chili win! The event will conclude with judging on presentation and creativity by members of the Resort Team. Activity requires a minimum of 30 participants. It’s cocktail time! Teams will be provided all the ingredients to make one obsessed Bloody Mary- it all depends on you and your team! Each team will start with the basic ingredients, and it is up to them to keep it original or kick it up a notch with the assortment of ingredients and garnishes! Items to include various vodkas, limes, lemons, classic tomato juice, and a variety of spices. Load it up with choices of toppers like bacon, olives, and celery, to name a few. Participants are assembled into teams and will be judged on presentation, flavor, and creativity. Activity requires a minimum of 30 participants. Expected duration of one hour.

Filled with obstacles and a fun photo opportunity with our Margaritaville parrot, our 18-hole miniature golf course is a charming challenge with a WACKY twist. This crazy tournament features unusual putting challenges including one leg putts, pool-style, blindfolded, dizzy and more. Activity is based on 10 -50 participants. Expected duration of one hour.

Together, this 45-minute experience with scenic views of Lake Conroe provides physical and cognitive benefits that cultivate peace of mind for today’s busy professionals.

Take a piece of paradise home with you by creating your own hand-painted margarita glass. Led by our recreation team, you will be given step-by-step instruction on how to express your own creative artistic style. Activity is based on 10 - 50 participants. Expected duration of one hour.

• Get your group in on a smashing guacamole lesson in this team building activity turned lively cooking competition; the group will split into teams to compete for the crowning title of Guacamole Chefs Extraordinaire! Your team members' natural strengths will come together as groups collaborate to make their own innovative guacamole flavors. Dips will be judged on their creativity and overall quality. The salsa showdown competition combines creativity with culinary skill as teams work together to win over the judges. Each group has its own table with fresh vegetables, pans, bowls, spoons, knives, cutting boards, aprons, and utensils. They must work against the clock – and each other – to create the perfect salsa, then market it to the rest of the judges. Activity is based on 10 - 70 participants. Expected duration of one hour.
