Are other animals allowed on the resort?
State guidelines for service animals apply, but other than dogs, only service animals are free of charge at our resort and are welcome in any area frequented by their owner. The ADA definition of a service animal can be found here.
Are all dog breeds allowed?
Some breeds are restricted at the resort: Boxers, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, Akitas, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, Mastiffs, Malamutes, Great Danes, Cane Corso, Chow Chows, Huskies and Wolf Hybrids. Mixed breeds may be evaluated on a case-by-case scenario. This restriction does not apply to service animals.
Is there a size / weight limit to the dogs allowed at the resort?
A dog staying at our resort may not to exceed 50 pounds. This restriction does not apply to service animals.
What is the maximum number of dogs I can have in the cottage?
There is a maximum of two dogs per room, per stay.
Is there an extra fee for bringing my dog?
There is an additional fee of $100 per dog/per stay in designated cottages. This restriction does not apply to service animals.
Can I bring other types of pets with me, like a cat, bird, or lizard?
Only dogs are allowed to stay in the cottages at the resort.
Are there any areas at the resort where dogs are/are not allowed?
For our guest safety there are designated areas where dogs are allowed. As a general rule, dogs are not allowed where food is prepared, stored, and/or served; in the fitness center, spa, and/or in pool areas. This restriction does not apply to service animals.
Which guestroom types are dogs allowed in?
Dogs are allowed in designated lake cottages and on the first floor of the main tower.
Are dogs allowed on beds or in the pool areas?
No, under no circumstances are dogs allowed in these areas.
Is there a pet damage fee if my dog causes damage to a guestroom?
Yes, guest(s) will be required to pay for any damage to resort and/or any personal injuries resulting from or caused by their dog(s). The hotel reserves the right to charge the account/credit card commensurate to the cost of such damages, including loss of rental income.
What happens if you do not follow the rules in the dog agreement?
Failure to comply with these guidelines can result in removal from the resort without reimbursement for your stay. Please use discretion and ask the front desk if you have any questions or concerns.
