Age Requirements

​​Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve and check in to a room at Margaritaville Beach House Key West.

Parking

Self-parking is available for guests at the resort. Boat, trailer, RV, and jet-ski parking is not permitted.

Smoke-Free

Margaritaville Beach House Key West is proudly a smoke-free environment. A $500 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if evidence of smoking or vaping is found in your room.

Guarantee Deposit

To guarantee your stay, a deposit of one night’s room rate and applicable taxes will be taken seven days before guest arrival (excluding special rates or promotions that require prepayment).

A 1% convenience fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Credit and Debit Cards

The credit or debit card used for booking must be the same card presented for payment along with a valid photo ID upon check-in. In addition to the deposit(s) taken prior to arrival, a pre-authorization amount will be placed on your card at check-in. This is a temporary hold of a specific amount – it is not a charge to your account, but it can create a hold on those funds or against credit availability. We also may charge your card for any damages to the room or premises you or your guests cause. Once your actual incurred charges are posted at check-out, based on your bank, credit card company, or institution’s policy, it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days for the original pre-authorization amount to be removed. You are responsible for being aware of how your bank, credit card company or institution handles all of your transactions, including pre-authorizations. The hotel will not be responsible for any delay in releasing funds, returning availability, or any fees or charges by your bank, credit card company, or institution due to your use of a credit or debit card. We are unable to remove pre-authorizations directly through our hotel. We do not accept any third-party billing. This policy applies to all reservations.

Cancellations

Penalty-free cancellations are accepted up to 7 days prior to arrival date. Cancellations after this period are subject to a One-night Room And Tax Penalty Charge. All Advance Rate Plans are fully prepaid, non-changeable, and non-refundable. In the event that the guest(s) does not arrive on the arrival date, the full amount of the Advance Rate Plan reservation shall be forfeited. Each particular rate plan has clearly defined cancellation policies as you proceed further into the booking process.

At check-in, the Front Desk will verify your check-out date. Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose to depart early, price is subject to change. A State Tax of 7.5%, an Occupancy Tax of 5%, and a nightly resort fee of $54 plus tax will apply to each reservation.

Reservation Acceptance

​Please note that there may be certain reservations that we are unable to accept and must cancel. At our sole discretion, Margaritaville Beach House Key West reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a guest has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or under other circumstances where it appears that the rates or details of the reservation contain/resulted from a mistake/error.

We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any reservation. If your reservation is canceled or if additional information is required to accept your reservation, a member of the Margaritaville Beach House Key West guest services team will contact you at the number provided during the booking process. If your reservation is canceled after your credit card has been charged, we will issue a credit to your credit card in the amount of the charge.

Resort Fee

A nightly resort fee of $54 plus tax is applied to all reservations. This fee provides guests with exclusive access to the resort’s amenities, services, and activities including:

• Shuttle service to and from downtown and the Key West International Airport
• Daily parking for vehicles (boat, trailer, RV, or jet-ski parking is not permitted)
• Welcome cocktail during check-in 11:30 am - 7 pm
• Daily poolside refreshments including freshly blended fruit smoothies at noon and popsicles at 2 pm
• Daily lobby refreshments including fruit-infused water and lemonade and fresh-baked cookies between 3-5 pm
• Pool towels for water-sports 
• Local calls
• Wi-Fi

Adult Activities include:

• Rum Tastings 
• Bingo 

Kids Activities include:

• Crayons and themed coloring pages
• Freshly baked lobby cookies
• Fruit-infused lemonade and water
• Poolside smoothies and popsicles
• Fireside s'mores

Pets

We welcome well-mannered dogs 30 lbs or less. Guests bringing dogs will be charged $75 per night, per dog; maximum of two dogs per room. Room type and location restrictions may apply. Guests will be responsible for any property damage inadvertently caused by their dogs.

Certified service dogs that provide assistance to individuals with disabilities are welcome at the hotel and are not subject to the policies and restrictions described above.
