Tasty New Year’s Eve Cocktails and Appetizers
Champagne may be synonymous with New Year’s Eve celebrations, but craft cocktails and appetizers straight out of paradise are what guests will remember and rave about. This year elevate your New Year’s Eve gathering with these craft cocktails created at Margaritaville Resort Orlando and the appetizers that pair perfectly with them.
New Year’s Sparkler
- 1¼ oz. Red Berry vodka
- 1 oz. pomegranate juice
- Filled to completion with Prosecco
Glassware: Champagne glass
Garnish: Three skewered raspberries dropped into glass.
Build: Add red berry vodka and pomegranate into shaker with ice and give a healthy shake. Pour contents into champagne glass. Fill to completion with Prosecco, while allowing room for the garnish to be dropped into the glass.
Pairs well with: Smoked fish dip and crackers
Citrus Resolution
- 1½ oz. Grey Goose Citron
- 1 oz. Ripe Lemon Sour
- Squeeze of simple syrup
Glassware: Champagne glass
Garnish / Rim: Rim champagne glass with sugar, garnish with lemon twist.
Build: Add Citrus vodka, Ripe lemon sour and simple syrup into shaker with ice. Give a healthy shake. Strain contents into champagne glass, fill to completion with Prosecco. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Pairs well with: Bacon-wrapped Pineapple Bites and Grilled Pineapple with Coconut Rum Sauce
The Ball Drop
- 1½ oz. Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey
- 4 oz. Ocean Spray White Cranberry Juice
- Broken rosemary spring
- Healthy squeeze of Honey infused syrup
Glassware: Rocks glass
Garnish: Rosemary spring & Orange slice
Build: Add all ingredients into shaker with ice and give a healthy shake. Strain contents into rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with rosemary spring and orange.
