Our Pet Policy

Dogs are Welcome at Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe

At Margaritaville, we know that your dogs are part of the family. That's why we've rolled out the red carpet for your four-legged pals. Say hello to the ultimate pet-friendly paradise in Lake Tahoe! Our pawsome team is dedicated to making sure your furry companions are as comfy and pampered as you are.

Bringing Your Pup Along? Here’s the Lowdown:

Paw-some Agreement: Upon check-in, sign our Guest Acknowledgement of Pet Policy to get the scoop on our pet guidelines.

Dog Days Only: Our pet policy is canine-only.

Weight Limit: We welcome dogs up to 30 lbs.

Pet Limit: Up to 2 pets per room.

Pet Fee: A daily fee of $50 (per pet) will be added to your reservation.

Security Deposit: A $75 daily deposit is required, and refunded if no damages or noise issues occur.

Trained and Tame: Pets must be fully trained, leashed, and under control of their owners at all times while on property.

No Solo Pups: Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms at any time.

Water Rules: Pets are not allowed in any water features, including the pool.

Dining Rules: Pets are not allowed in restaurants.

Emergency Info: Provide your contact details at check-in, just in case.

Owner's Responsibility: Owners are liable for any damages, noise complaints, or injuries caused by their pets.

Housekeeping: No pets in the room during housekeeping. Arrange a time when your pet can be out and about.

So pack up that doggy bag, grab the leash, and head to Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe for a tail-wagging good time.

Service Animals

If you have a service animal, we welcome you both to Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe. We request that you inform the front desk that you will have a service animal in the room for emergency and evacuation purposes.

We have the right to ask you to remove your service animal from the premises if: (1) the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it or (2) the animal is not housebroken. If a service animal becomes aggressive or destructive, we have the right to ask that the service animal is removed from the premises. In this case, you are still welcome to stay without your service animal, and a list of boarding facilities will be provided. Guests are financially responsible for any damages caused by their service animal.

Service animals are to be with their handler at all times and are not to be left in the room unattended.

Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In those cases, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
