Michelle Stuermer
Director of Sales + Marketing
Michelle Stuermer was selected as Director of Sales & Marketing for Margaritaville Hotel Nashville in April 2021. With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality management industry, Ms. Stuermer’s skills range from strategic marketing and sales planning to cultivating a diverse team and leading it to deliver high-quality customer service.
Ms. Stuermer most recently worked for Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown with Davidson Hotels & Resorts, which manages large-scale resorts and hotels throughout the United States. Prior to her move to Nashville, Ms. Stuermer was the director of sales & marketing for the Little Rock Marriott in Little Rock, AR. In her first year at the Marriott, Ms. Stuermer helped increase occupancy by 11 percent. Her role required detailed sales and marketing expertise for more than 400 guestrooms, 40,000 square feet of meeting space, as well as overseeing exclusive catering sales in the 220,00- square feet of meeting space at the attached convention center.
Prior to her work at the Little Rock Marriott, Ms. Stuermer made the move from 14 years at Starwood Hotels, to becoming the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Tucson Marriott University Park. This move allowed her to develop her already diverse set of skills by adding Marriott's brand experience. During her tenure with Starwood Hotels, Ms. Stuermer worked at such prestigious brands as Westin Hotels, Luxury Collection, St. Regis and spent 8 years as Associate Director of Sales for New Builds and Transitions.
Her knowledge of group sales and marketing, conference and catering event planning, market development, and contract negotiation provides Margaritaville Hotel Nashville sales team with the strategic leadership needed to offer Four-Star customer service to its clients.
Ms. Stuermer has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Sam Houston State University.

Maddison Murrian
Event Sales Manager
Madison joined the team in September after graduating from University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has brought great energy and eagerness to learn in her position. Madison's first position with Margaritaville Nashville was Sales Coordinator, focusing on supporting the sales & event managers, asisting with incoming leads, and communicating across all of the operating departments across the hotel. She assisted with site inspections, financial reporting, customer service, amenity distribution and design, rooming list management, drafting proposals and contracts and much more. It wasn't long before Madison was able to be promoted to the Event Sales Manager role. Maddie is a wealth of support for the team and for our guests and clients.
Erica Buckley
Event Planning Manager
Erica has been with Margaritaville Hotel Nashville since May of 2023. She joined us at her previous location in St. Louis, MO where she worked as a Meeting Event Manager for 5 months. Erica graduated from Western Kentucky University in May of 2022. Erica's main responsibilities are to design all group events by working closely with clients and event planners throughout the lifecycle of the event.
Heath Mansfield
Executive Meeting Manager
Heath Mansfield serves as the Executive Meeting Manager at Margaritaville Hotel Nashville, where his ambition, creativity, and dedication shine through. With over four years of diverse sales experience, Heath infuses our team with a vibrant energy that keeps everyone engaged and motivated.
Beginning his career at the age of nineteen, Heath ventured to Nashville to work as a freight broker for Total Quality Logistics. His journey in the hospitality sector commenced with sales in bus charter and black car services, where he quickly became well-acquainted with the unique needs of Nashville’s vibrant events scene. During his tenure as the Sales and Events Coordinator for Metro, Heath adeptly managed transportation logistics for a variety of events, including large-scale conferences, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
Currently, Heath oversees groups of 10 to 30 rooms per night, along with any accompanying events and catering requirements. He is always on the lookout for innovative solutions to attract new business to the hotel. With his enthusiasm and commitment, Heath is not just a team member; he’s a driving force in our success.
