What time is check-in/check-out?
Our check-in time begins at 4pm CT and check-out time begins at 10am CT.
Is early check-in available?
Early check-in is available for an additional fee and is subject to home availability.
A fee of $350 applies for check-ins between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM, and $250 for check-ins between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM.
Is late check-out available?
Late check-out is available for an additional fee and is subject to home availability. A fee of $250 applies for check-outs between 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM, and $350 for check-outs between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

What is your cancellation policy?
Are pets allowed at your resort?
We love pets, but our vacation homes are currently not pet-friendly. We appreciate your understanding and we are here to help if you have any additional questions about our resort.
Is smoking allowed at the resort?
Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort — Panama City Beach is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our unit properties, on any property balcony, and any other resort venues and amenities. Smoking will incur a $300 fine, plus a cleaning fee.
How old do you have to be to make a reservation?
You must be at least 25 years old to make a reservation.
Can I have guests visit during my stay?
At Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort, only registered guests may stay overnight. Day visitors are welcome, provided the number of cars does not exceed the parking passes provided. All vehicles must display a valid parking pass, and additional visitors beyond the home's limit must purchase a day pass for $35 plus tax per day. This must be approved on a case-by-case basis due to limited parking. Thank you for your cooperation.
What amenities and services will be available when I visit?
Our guests can indulge in 580 feet of beachfront along with a variety of select beach services that can be conveniently booked in advance here
We also offer an oasis pool featuring a zero-entry access, the Salty Rim Bar and Grill, thrilling H2O water slides, and a 425-foot lazy river, both pools are heated for year-round enjoyment.
In the spring of 2025, we are excited to introduce our new restaurant, License to Chill, complemented by the Fin City Arcade, Fins Fitness Gym, Joe Merchants coffee shop and provisions, and a welcoming guest center for added convenience.
What are the pool deck rules?
- Guests swim at their own risk.
- Glass containers are prohibited at the pool and beach.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited.
- Children 14 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
- Diaper-wearing guests must wear a protective swim diaper.
- Personal media devices are permitted with the use of headphones to preserve tranquility for other resort guests.
- For the safety and comfort of all guests, outside coolers, food, and beverages are not permitted within our oasis pool deck.
What are the hours of operation for the pool deck and beach?
Beach Services: 9am-5pm daily

H20 Adventure Pool Slides: 8am-8pm daily

Will there be beach access for the homes on the north side of Front Beach Road? Will there be a crosswalk?
Our resort offers a designated crosswalk for beach access to the homes located on the north side of the street. To ensure safe usage of the crosswalk, we kindly request that guests press the button and wait for the safety lights to activate before crossing.
Are there height requirements for your water slides and the Lazy River?
Yes, all riders on our water slides and the Lazy River must be at least 48” tall.
Is the pool heated during the winter?
Yes, our pool is heated all year.
Are beach chairs included in the reservation? How many will be provided?
Beach chairs are available for an additional price. The price for two chairs and one umbrella is $65 a day. To learn more about our pricing configurations, click here.
What restaurants are available at the hotel?
The Salty Rim Bar & Grill, located next to Oasis Pool, offers guests a true taste of paradise with its delectable light bites, handheld treats, and refreshing tropical cocktails. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the serene ambiance of our resort.
And there's more to look forward to! In the spring of 2025, we are thrilled to introduce our new restaurant, License to Chill, along with Joe Merchants Coffee Shop and Provisions.
Is outside food & drink allowed at the pool?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the pool area in order to comply with licensing requirements and to maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality and safety.

Do you offer an airport shuttle service?
Our resort does not offer an airport shuttle. However, you can contact Uber, Lyft or a local ride service like Beach Boy Shuttle, who will be happy to assist you.
What should we bring for the home?
Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort ensures all vacation homes are equipped with linens, bath towels, and essential amenities. Each of our homes features a kitchen stocked with basic cookware, utensils, plates, cups, and silverware for your convenience. To guarantee your arrival is seamless, we have included a starter supply of: Hand/Face Soap, Conditioner, Shampoo, Body Lotion, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Laundry Detergent, Dishwashing Detergent, Dish Soap, and Trash Bags.
If you would like assistance with shopping for groceries or additional provisions before your arrival, we recommend Condo Concierge, Stockd Services, or Instacart.
Is this a 55-and-better community?
Our resort community warmly welcomes guests of all ages. To book a stay, we kindly request that the primary guest listed on the reservation be at least 25 years old, remain in the rental property for the entire duration of the stay, and adhere to local occupancy ordinances.
Is this community affiliated with Margaritaville Latitudes in Watersound?
Although both communities have partnered with Margaritaville for a coastal casual lifestyle, we are two separate communities and not related.
What month can you not drink in Panama City Beach?
During the month of March there is a strict “no-drinking on the beach” ordinance in Panama City Beach.
What is the weather like in Panama City Beach?

What time does the beach close?
Panama City Beach does not have specific beach closure regulations.
What safety measures are there at Panama City Beach?

When do I know the home number and address?
You can expect to know the exact home number and address upon check-in. At Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort, reservations are made based on the type and floor plan of the home, ensuring that you receive the advertised size and number of rooms. While the specific home assignment occurs at check-in, the overall layout will match the type you reserved. However, please note that decor, furniture, balcony configuration, and minor variations in the floor plan might differ from the images or descriptions.
Will this be single family homes, townhomes or condos? How big will they be?
Our curated collection of homes ranges from luxury beachfront villas to charming surf bungalow cottages, offering a home for everyone at the beach! Our resort neighborhood features 118 single-family homes in various sizes, from luxurious 6-bedroom Beach Villa homes to charming Surf Bungalows with one bedroom plus a sleeping loft.
Will there be an on-site rental management company? Who will be handling on-site rentals?

Will short-term rentals be allowed?

Will the homes be sold furnished? Do I have to buy your furniture collection? Will I have to buy a specific furniture collection to use your rental management program?
The homes are being sold furnished with one of our carefully curated collections, designed to enhance the Margaritaville lifestyle you and your guests expect. These collections include everything needed to immediately enjoy your time here.
For those participating in the rental program, we offer furniture selections from our collections, or we will coordinate with the rental management company to approve additional furniture and decor.
