Margaritaville Lanier Islands is a cashless facility. We accept card payments only using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or a debit card at all locations, including admission gates, retail stores, and food & beverage outlets.
What is the gate fee to enter Lanier Islands Resort?
Lanier Islands Resort charges a $20.00 daily gate and parking fee for every vehicle that visits the resort. Resort access/parking is included with our summer and winter season passes and our combo passes.
Is your park handicap accessible?
We have handicap parking available in all of our parking lots. Please note, most attractions require the use of stairs.

What is your cashless policy?
Margaritaville Lanier Islands is a cashless facility. We accept card payments only using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or a debit card at all locations, including admission gates, retail stores, and food & beverage outlets.
Do you have a public phone?
We do not have any public telephones available for use.
How do I find out if the park is closing?
You may call our Guest Relations team at (470) 323-3440 any date that operations may be affected by weather. You may also keep an eye out on our social media platforms, as we post every time we close.
Do you have wireless internet access inside the park?
Wireless internet access is available in most areas of the park. Please use the IslandsGuest network.
What happens if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?
The water park does not issue rain checks or refunds for the inclement weather. It is advisable to view the local forecast prior to your visit. Outdoor attractions may be suspended in the event of heavy rains, high winds, and lightning. If the attractions have been suspended for longer than 90 minutes due to inclement weather, see an admission associate for further information.
Can I bring a cooler?
No, coolers or insulated bags are not permitted in the park unless for specific baby, allergy, or medical needs. Approved bags must not exceed 6” x 8.5” x 6” and must receive a designated medical tag before bringing into the park.
Do you have a paging or PA system to call someone?
We do not have a paging/PA system.
What if I get separated from my child?
It is always a good idea to have a meeting place if any members of your party get separated. If you become separated from your child, you can notify any park associate.
What is Margaritaville at Lanier Islands Water Park's alcoholic beverage policy?
Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park. Alcohol sales are located in various park areas, including Tiki Hut, at LandShark Landing and the License to Chill Bar located on our boardwalk.
Is smoking permitted in the park?
Smoking is permitted within designated areas only- Beach Bar and License to Chill Bar. All other park areas remain smoke (including vapor) and tobacco-free.
Are there lockers for me to store my belongings? Where are they, and what do they cost?
We have lockers in three locations – next to the wave pool, Paradise Beach Rentals adjacent to Paradise Beach Cantina, and LandShark Landing. Prices range from $12-20, depending on the size of the locker.
Do you have a lost & found?
For lost and found items, please see the attendant at Guest Services.
Are pets allowed inside the park?
Pets are not permitted inside Fins Up Water Park except for service animals. Pets are only allowed in designated areas at LandShark Landing.
Do you have an ATM? Can I get cashback?
No, there are no ATMs available in the park. No outlets offer cashback on debit/ATM cards or checks.
What can I bring inside the water park?
While we have umbrellas and cabanas available for rent, please note that personal beach umbrellas, tents, or other shade covers are not permitted in the park. For your convenience, sunglasses, hats, towels, and sunscreen are also for sale at our gift shops. Food/Beverages: No food or beverage items can be brought into the water park other than one unopened bottle of water per person.
Do you sell food/drink inside the park?
Yes! You can enjoy a meal at various locations throughout the park from Shark Shack to Paradise Beach Cantina, Frank & Lola's Pizzeria, License to Chill, and LandShark Landing. We also have smaller concessions, including Bucky's Snack Shack and Sid’s Tropical Refresher, that provide snacks such as popcorn, pretzels, and more.
If I exit the park, can I reenter?
Yes. Your Fins Up Water Park admission is valid for the remainder of the day after you enter. Keep your wristband on for the day to reenter and utilize the attractions. Wristbands must be worn to be valid for use. Altered, broken, or unworn wristbands are not valid.
What are the age and height restrictions for the attractions?
Height and age requirements for attractions at Fins Up Water Park vary. For specific information regarding each ride, please visit our Water Park page.
Can I swim in the lake at the Water Park or LandShark Landing?
Please note the following changes to Fins Up Water Park and LandShark Landing: lake access for swimming is no longer available, but our general beach area will remain open. To learn more about available water activities, please visit our Water Park page.
How many slides do you have?

I have a small child; What is there for them to do?
Parakeet Springs is an area exclusively designed for children under 42" tall. It features smaller slides, water attractions, and a scaled-down version of our wave pool, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for younger children. For winter amusement, our snow play areas are designed for guests of all ages.
What is the cost of a general admission ticket?
Tickets to Fins Up Water Park start at $44.99 when purchased online! (Ticket must be purchased at least one day in advance to receive discounted rate). Same Day Regular Admission tickets are $59.99 per person. Please visit our ticket page for more ticket options and pricing information.
I have an infant; do they need a ticket to enter?
Children 3 years of age and younger are not required to have a ticket; they are free.
Do you offer group rates on tickets?
Yes! You may purchase Fins Up Water Park daily tickets at the group rate of $44.99 when you have a group of 15+. Please visit our ticket page for more information.
Do you offer military discounts?
Yes, we do offer discounted tickets for active and retired military personnel and first-responders. Discounted tickets are available for purchase in-person only when presenting a valid ID.
What is your refund policy?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets are non-transferable and not changeable.
Can I leave and return to the park on the same day?
Admission to Fins Up Water Park is valid for the duration of the day from the time of first entry. To reenter with attraction privileges, you must be wearing your wristband. If your wristband is removed, you will not be able to utilize the attractions until you purchase a new wristband.
Lanier Islands' daily resort access and parking is valid for reentry on the same day of purchase by presenting your parking receipt.
Do I have to pay admission if I am just going to LandShark Landing or LandShark Bar & Grill?
LandShark Landing and LandShark Bar & Grill are free to visit, except for holiday weekends and during special events. On these days, entry is $9.99.
Can I upgrade my daily ticket to a season pass?
Yes! You can upgrade a single-day water park ticket to a season pass at Guest Services. Upgrades must be done on the same day of your visit. You must present your Water Park or Snow Island admission ticket receipt to upgrade.

Do you offer a non-ride discounted ticket?
No, Fins Up Water Park is a pay-one-price facility. Because of the breadth of recreation offered for all ages, Fins Up Water Park maintains the pay-one-price policy for all guests to enjoy the rides, beach, wave pools, and other attractions.
Can I bring my food into the Water Park?
No external food or beverages, except one unopened bottled water per guest, are permitted inside the Water Park. Exceptions are made for food allergies and infant food in non-glass containers.
Guests with food allergies may bring food into the park, limited to the individual with the allergy. This food must be contained in a small, approved 6" X 8.5" X 6" soft-sided cooler. No outside beverages are allowed. Please see the attendant at the ticket booth to receive a designated medical tag before bringing these items into the park.
Where can I buy alcohol, or can I bring my own?
Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands. If you want to purchase an alcoholic beverage, drinks are available at Tiki Hut, LandShark Landing, and License to Chill.
What kind of food does the park have?

Where do I park for LandShark Bar & Grill and LandShark Landing
- Once you pass through the front gate of the resort, continue on the main road, Lanier Islands Parkway.
- At the clock tower roundabout, take the second exit (Lanier Islands Parkway) to a set of water features, turn left on Camellia Lane.
- Take the first right and park in the Grand Hall parking lot.
- The steps down to LandShark Landing are towards the rear of the parking lot.
- Veer right towards the bridge over the lake and water park entrance gate.
- Follow the walkway through the gate and around into LandShark Landing and LandShark Bar & Grill.

Do you provide life jackets?
Yes, courtesy personal flotation devices (PFD) are available next to the wave pool. They are first-come, first-served. Life jackets are provided at the Aquatic adventure attraction.
Do you have a first aid station?
Yes, the first aid station is staffed with a certified EMT during park hours and is located next to Paradise Beach between Racing Waters and Splashdown attractions.
How old does my child need to be to go in the park without an adult?
It is recommended that an adult accompany anyone under the age of 16. After 6 PM, an adult must accompany minors under 18.
What if I get separated from my child?
It is always a good idea to have a meeting place if any members of your party get separated. If you become separated from your child, you can notify any park associate.

Yes, we have beach umbrellas, cabanas, and palapas available to rent daily. Large umbrellas are located throughout the park and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Yes, you can store your personal items at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands with lockers next to the wave pool, Paradise Beach Rentals, and LandShark Landing. Prices range from $12-20 depending on the individual size.
How much is Parking?
The Lanier Islands Resort gate fee that includes parking is $20 per vehicle. Season Pass and Combo Pass holders receive complimentary parking with their pass.
Is there a shuttle to my car?
There is a shuttle service for Legacy Lodge hotel guests to various locations around the resort. The Fins Up Water Park tram service begins mid-summer and shuttles guests between the water park parking lots and Camp Margaritaville.
If I am dropping my kids off at the park, do I still have to pay for parking?
Vehicles that enter Lanier Islands must pay the $20 resort fee for parking, regardless of the duration of their stay. If you’re a season pass holder, parking is included when you present your season pass card to the attendant.
Is there a shuttle to my car or Camp Margaritaville RV Resort?
Yes, there is a shuttle service between Fins Up Water Park parking lots and Camp Margaritaville RV Resort.
Can I upgrade my ticket to a season pass?

I lost my season pass RFID wristband; how do I get a replacement?
You can get a replacement RFID wristband at the Season Pass Center. There is a $15 fee for a replacement RFID wristband.
What is a Pre-K Season Pass?
A Pre-K Season Pass is a FREE summer season pass for 3–5-year-old children for the 2024 summer season. The pass must be processed at our Season Pass Center or with guest services with age-confirming documents such as a birth certificate, passport, or green card. The Pre-K Pass does not come with any additional perks or discounts.
Who qualifies for the Pre-K Season Pass?
To qualify for our FREE Pre-K Season Pass when purchasing the FINtastic Combo Pass (winter + summer), the passholder must be three to five years old at the beginning of the winter season (11/4/23) to be eligible. If buying the Summer Fin Pass, the passholder must be three to five years old at the beginning of the summer season (5/4/24) to be eligible.
How many Pre-K Season Passes can I get?
Guests can get one Pre-K Season Pass for every two combo or summer season passes purchased. Passes must be processed in person at our season pass center with age-confirming documents before passes can be used for the season.
What do I need to process my Child's Pre-K Season Pass?
Age-confirming documents include a birth certificate, passport, or green card. Originals, copies, and digital versions are acceptable if they are legible. To redeem your Pre-K pass, please visit the season pass center located at the entrance of Fins Up Water Park.
Do I need a season pass to get my child a Pre-K Season Pass?
Yes, one Pre-K Pass can only be acquired by purchasing two combo or summer season passes.
