Bring Halloween Into Your Home
Now is the time to bring the fun of staying at Margaritaville Resort Orlando at Halloween into your home. We’ve got plenty of ways to make your October 31 spooktacular. Plus, Margaritaville Resort Orlando has tricks and treats for all ages. It’s time to eat, drink and be scary!
So Much Sugar
For many people, Halloween means candy, candy and more candy. No matter your age, it’s a day to joyfully indulge in sweets. Surprise friends or family members with their favorites in a trick-or-treat pail and help them relive the excitement of going door to door! Or try something new with a scavenger hunt for candy in your home or yard. Don’t forget: A candy a day keeps the monsters away.
Island-Inspired Costumes
Where there’s candy, there are usually costumes. This year, why not choose island-inspired costumes that remind you of Margaritaville Resort Orlando? Maybe a typical tourist or lifeguard? How about a dolphin or a flamingo? If you’re looking for something a bit more rogue, maybe a swash-buckling pirate or silvery mermaid would make a delightful costume. Meanwhile, don’t mind us… we’re over here planning how we are going to create and wear a giant red flip flop!
Boo-tiful Beverages
Think you’ve tried all the margarita flavors at Margaritaville Resort Orlando? Trick’s on you! We’re introducing the Black Magic Margarita, as well as Professor's Poison Apple, Spooky Pumpkin and Witches Cauldron hand-crafted cocktails this month to celebrate Halloween. You can find the recipe for each drink on our website so you can enjoy it at home, too.
Jack-o’-lanterns and Pumpkins
There’s no rule that says your jack-o’-lantern has to be carved from a pumpkin. A sweet pineapple gives your home a tropical flavor. Other fruits will work, too, so get creative! Another fun option is to carve or decorate an island-inspired pumpkin. Get your lazy bones moving and break out the leis and bright colors. When you’re finished, have a virtual judging and reward the contest winner.
