Florida’s first-ever “Jimmy Buffett Day” will commence on August 30, to honor the singer’s legacy and commitment to supporting local communities. To continue his mission, Margaritaville is hosting a “Day of Service” at locations across the country, and you’re invited to join the fun!
Join our beach clean-up crew on August 30, 2024, to support natural habitats by clearing litter and trash from the sand. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join us. We will begin just north of Jacksonville Beach Pier at 9 am.
Can't donate your time? Stop by LandShark Bar & Grill for a Mango Sunset Margarita or Caribbean Sandbar, or tap beer in our commemorative "Jimmy Buffett Day" cup, and we'll donate $1 per drink to Singing for Change.

BSTP is dedicated to making Jacksonville's beaches a safer place for sea turtles. They document strandings for the Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network and transport debilitated turtles to rehab facilities. With a permit from the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC), they conduct foot patrols, nesting surveys, and marine turtle protection. They proudly serve the community as an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
