As December approaches, we are excited to host a Holiday Kick-Off Weekend at Camp Margaritaville Breaux Bridge. From a tacky Christmas sweater contest to a performance by The Eighties Experience and The Chee-Weez, this is a weekend you do not want to miss. If you haven't booked your Louisiana camping trip for December 1-3 yet, you have come to the right place! The Chee-Weez Performance

On December 2, 2023, The Chee-Weez are coming to town. The band founded just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana is known for their variety of music all the way from classic rock and 80's hair metal to oldies and 80's new wave tunes. The 5 piece tribute/show band have performed alongside well known artists such as Styx, Journey, The Pointer Sisters, and The Sunshine Band. The concert filled with lights, lasers, and pyro will leave you entertained no matter what. Like Camp Margaritaville, The Chee-Weez are all about having a fun time and leaving you with a smile on your face. All campers stying with us get the perks of enjoying the concert free of charge. The Eighties Experience

Get ready to get off your feet for some 80's classic performed by Acadiana's Premier cover band, The Eighties Experience. Their performances are all about fun, dancing, and singing along. The Eighties Experience brings an energy to the stage unlike any other and on December 1, 2023 you can experience the excitement. Holiday Events & Activities

There is no better way to kick-off the Christmas season than a tacky Christmas sweater contest and visits with Santa. We will be having Christmas themed activities and events all weekend long such as a Christmas site decorating contest, letters to Santa, Christmas candle making, and so much more. At Cajun Fast Track, located right down the road from Camp Margaritaville, Santa himself will be visiting! Plus, Prehistoric Park is hosting their annual Christmas trail for those who want to enjoy the stunning Christmas lights.
